We may provide necessary information to the following recipients:

Operational Service Providers

Companies supporting hosting, infrastructure, communications, customer service, security, and other technical operations.

Payment Providers

Banks, payment processors, and financial partners involved in completing, confirming, or reversing a transaction.

Transaction Partners

Telecommunications operators, electricity companies, cable-TV providers, examination bodies, and other suppliers needed to deliver your selected service.

We may disclose information to a regulator, court, government agency, law-enforcement body, or fraud-prevention provider when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, transactions, or our rights.

UnaisData does not sell personal information.

5. Data Security

We apply reasonable organisational and technical protections against unauthorised access, alteration, loss, disclosure, or destruction. Measures may include access restrictions, authentication controls, monitoring, and encryption where appropriate.

Internet transmission and electronic storage always carry some risk; therefore, no service can promise absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain information for the time reasonably needed to provide the Services, keep legitimate business records, address disputes, combat fraud, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal or regulatory duties.

When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to erase, anonymise, or securely dispose of it. Applicable laws may require transaction and financial records to be retained for a longer period.

7. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your UnaisData account and related personal information through the account-deletion option available in the app. You may also email support@unaisdata.com from your registered email address with the subject “UnaisData account deletion request”.

We may verify that you own the account before processing the request. Do not email your password, transaction PIN, BVN, NIN, or one-time code.

A deletion request will be handled in accordance with applicable law. Information required for regulatory, accounting, security, legal, or fraud-prevention purposes may be retained only for those purposes. Account deletion may permanently remove access to wallet information, transaction history, and other account features.

8. Cookies and Related Technologies

Our website may use cookies or comparable technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, operate site features, improve security, assess usage, and diagnose problems. Browser settings may allow you to limit cookies, although some features may then work differently or become unavailable.

9. Mobile Application Permissions

Some app features may request permission to use device capabilities such as contacts, notifications, biometrics, or storage. Permissions are used only to provide, protect, or improve the relevant feature. The permissions requested can change as app features and versions change, and you can manage them through your device settings.

10. External Services and Links

Some UnaisData functions depend on or connect to independent third-party services. Those providers apply their own terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to review their practices because UnaisData does not control how an independent provider handles information.

11. Children's Privacy

UnaisData does not intentionally collect children's personal information where applicable law prohibits it. If we discover that such information was collected improperly, we will take reasonable steps to remove it.
